Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN) – incorporating The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick and other paediatric health services – provides care to over 25% of the sickest children in Australia. SCHN research focusses on addressing complex diseases of childhood such as neuromuscular disorders, brain and other cancers and rare genetic diseases, as well as chronic diseases including diabetes and obesity, and acute life-threatening illnesses arising from infections and allergies. www.schn.health.nsw.gov.au
