Dr Thomas Barlow - Director of Paediatrio
Dr Thomas Barlow is a leading thinker on technology trends and research strategy. Educated at Oxford University (MA, DPhil) and at the University of Sydney (BSc, Hons I with University Medal), he has also been the Janssen Fellow at Balliol College, Oxford, and a visiting Fellow at MIT.
He is the author of three books about science and innovation, and the publisher of the Barlow Report – a comprehensive analysis of university R&D activity in the Western Pacific, which has become one of the leading resources used to inform strategic decision-making within Australian and East Asian institutions of higher education.
Previously, he has been the science policy advisor to the Minister for Education, Science and Training in the Australian Government, and a weekly columnist with the Financial Times in the UK.
